AFFIRMING STUDENT CAPABILITY: SUMMARY OF SKILLS TRAINING COMPETITION FOR BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT - ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026
On the morning of March 27, 2026, at Hong Duc University, the atmosphere at Room 302 of the Administration Building was vibrant and inspiring as the Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation of the Professional Skills Competition for students majoring in Business Administration and Logistics & Supply Chain Management officially took place. The event marked not only the conclusion of a months-long academic journey but also a convergence of intellect, creativity, and the spirit of embracing challenges among students in the context of rapid digital transformation.
A “Real-World” Journey: Where Students Do Not Only Learn but Also Act
Unlike traditional academic competitions, this year’s Skills Training Competition introduced a fresh and innovative approach under the theme “Students and the Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI)”.
From multiple-choice tests assessing foundational knowledge to real-world business experiences and the development of communication products, students stepped beyond their academic comfort zones to engage directly with professional environments.
A key highlight of the competition was the proactive engagement of teams with enterprises, where students observed and analyzed business administration and logistics operations firsthand. Based on these experiences, they created videos and written content with strong practical relevance. Many projects demonstrated effective use of AI technologies in content creation, reflecting students’ ability to stay updated with trends and adapt quickly to the digital era. The competition, therefore, went beyond “learning to know” and truly became a journey of learning to do and growing through practice.
Strengthening the connection between University and Enterprises
One of the most remarkable aspects of this year’s competition was the active participation and support from enterprises, helping bridge the gap between academic training and real-world demands.
Students’ presentations and projects were evaluated not only by lecturers but also by enterprises’ representatives, those with practical, hands-on experience. This provided students with valuable insights into their own capabilities, a clearer understanding of labor market expectations, and better guidance in shaping their career paths.
During the ceremony, representatives of the Faculty Board highly appreciated the students’ proactiveness, creativity, and the Department’s continuous efforts in innovating professional training activities. These insightful remarks served not only as recognition but also as strong motivation for students to strive further in the future.
Celebrating outstanding achievements
After a challenging and inspiring journey, outstanding individuals and teams were recognized and honored in a moment filled with pride and excitement.
In the individual rounds, many students demonstrated solid knowledge and confidence. Meanwhile, in the team rounds, participants presented creative and professional products, showing significant investment in both content and presentation. Notably, the First Prize in both Business Administration and Logistics & Supply Chain Management was awarded to teams from fresher (K28) clearly reflecting the dynamism, creativity, and breakthrough spirit of the young generation of students.
In addition to awards from the Organizing Committee, gifts from enterprises’ representative were also presented, serving as meaningful recognition and encouragement for students to continue pursuing their professional aspirations.
Closing one chapter, opening new opportunities
Although the Skills Training Competition of Business Administration and Logistics & Supply Chain Managemen for the 2025-2026 academic year has come to an end, its values continue to resonate. It has equipped students not only with knowledge and skills but also with confidence, resilience, and readiness to integrate into the global workforce in the digital age.
The success of this competition once again affirms the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration’s commitment to educational innovation, placing learners at the center and strengthening the connection between theory and practice.
