The labor market is “thirsty” for managerial talent with practical competencies

According to Vietnam’s labor market report for 2024–2025, the group of economics – management – business fields continues to rank among the top five sectors with the highest recruitment demand, accounting for approximately 22–25% of total new workforce demand annually. Positions related to business management, marketing, sales, human resource management, and operations make up a large proportion of job postings from small and medium-sized enterprises, FDI companies, and startups.

In the North Central region, particularly in Thanh Hoa province—where industrial, logistics, and service-trade projects are rapidly expanding—the demand for entry-level and mid-level management personnel is projected to grow by an average of 8–10% per year. Many enterprises report a shortage of candidates with well-structured management knowledge, professional working skills, and modern business thinking, especially in an increasingly competitive environment.

Business Administration students at Hong Duc University are trained in professional skills within enterprises starting from their second year.

The Business Administration program at Hong Duc University is designed with an application-oriented and practice-based approach, aligned with labor market demands, and harmoniously combining foundational knowledge with professional skills. Students are equipped with courses in management, marketing, corporate finance, human resource management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, and innovation, with a strong emphasis on practical training.

In addition, the university places great importance on internships, field placements, and enterprise engagement, organizing learning activities based on real-world case studies, company visits, and inviting experts and business leaders to participate in teaching. As a result, students have early access to real working environments and are able to enhance their professional skills while still at university.
